General Homeowner Reminders

External Changes

Any and all external changes, repairs or work of any kind to your property must be first approved by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC).

Landscaping

Lawn maintenance covered by your HOA dues includes grass cutting (approximately every 7-10 days or at a height of 3 inches), weed removal and spraying, edging at all curbs and sidewalks, shrub pruning, mulching, and periodic leaf removal. Services that are not provided include flower bed planting/maintenance and lawn watering.

Parking

Permits must be displayed at all times.

Snow Removal

The parking lot is automatically cleared/plowed when a depth of three inches of snow is reported at Reagan National Airport. The clearing of snow and ice from the sidewalks is also performed, but this is provided as a courtesy and is the ultimate responsibility of the homeowner.

Trash & Recycling

Collection is on Tuesdays. Trash and recycling containers must be stored out of public view expect on collection days. Large items (such as refrigerators, Christmas trees, etc.) should be handled by the residents themselves, by scheduling a special appointment with Arlington County.

Towing

Call Al's Towing (703) 790-1156 if you have been towed or need to tow someone in your reserved parking spot.

Please review the SCCA rules and regulations, bylaws, parking policy and other association documents for more information.
